Learning to be Computer Literate

One of the most difficult tasks in today's world is understanding the computer and all that it can do. I have been a computer instructor for more than 25 years, and every time I teach a class I ask the students to provide me with their level of comfort on the computer. So many students tell me that they have absolutely no comfort level because either they do not have a computer at home -- or if they do have a computer at home, they are not allowed to use it.
